Ram Services Limited was engaged on a challenging project due to our extensive knowledge and experience within the diamond drilling arena.
Problem:
The state-of-the-art storage facility, within a structural metal container housing, spontaneously combusted and the client needed to understand the root cause of the storage failure.
Solution:
- Wire sawing the metal container in half, allowed the client to assess and investigate the electrical components of the storage facility.
- The non-percussive technique removed the hand arm vibration risk away from the operatives and allowed the site team to cut the container in a range of differing angles.
Additional Benefits to the Client:
- The technique of wire sawing expedited the programme of works due to the accelerated technique of cutting both concrete and steel substrates.
- Furthermore, due to the congested logistics on the battery storage facility the remote-controlled operation allowed our operational team to conduct the process from a distance, always ensuring site safety.
