Our experience covers structural leak sealing and waterproofing, pressure pointing and grouting, concrete repair and crack injection, mechanical expansion joint installation on bridges and car parks, structural tie installation, and specialist coatings in addition to more conventional construction trades where clients want the full package from a single trusted organisation.

Beyond this, we can assist in looking at the feasibility or practicality of carrying out structural repair works, in the development of specifications, and are not averse to challenging treatments proposed by others where we feel a more durable or cost effective solution is available.

We use a combination of traditional techniques and a range of more recent innovations as the means to repair, strengthen or refurbish a wide variety of structure types.

We also have in-house specialist expertise, plant and equipment to undertake structural alteration work including formation of openings or removal of redundant structural components as part of redevelopment or alteration works for lift shafts, escalators and plant access.

Techniques are also used to remove sub standard material as part of a larger repair process, and include diamond drilling, diamond sawing, hydro-demolition and hydraulic concrete bursting and concrete crunching.

WHY DOES EARLY INVOLVEMENT MATTER?

The modern day engineer is expected to be able to specify specialist techniques or materials, particularly for repair and maintenance where they are being increasingly used to great advantage.

However, it is difficult for engineers to acquire the diversified technical and practical knowledge required.

To understand and manage the numerous aspects which ultimately dictate the success or failure of a structural repair scheme needs specialist experience.
